Backyard Songs (Ohio) - 2006/10/03 13:49
The backyard bird microphone is picking up very little these days; some time an hour with no bird.
There's one very late-scurvily rising Cardinal, who still sings occasionally when the sun is well up.
A catbird and godlficnhes are the other irregular regulars.
A resident and loud summer house wren has left, or fallen silent anyway.
The other day I heard a single Robin tut.
There's a Carolina Wren who's here always at some time in the day.
Contrast the showily spring, when it's constant chaos out there.
