At length we were up at Whitefish Point, MI at the end of May. Generally speaking hundreds of bluewjays would gather in flocks & fly in place like they were getting ready to cross Lake Superior all at 1 time. Instead, after awhile they'll all flutter back down in to the trees. Naturally one of the hawkwatches said they do which all summer. Looking at it apasrently some never cross the lake in to CA.
Maybe a huge billbaord with a large picture of a peanut on your side of the lake would get them to come acros?
