Where are the Finches? - 2006/11/20 18:16I noticed last year whitch my feeders were devoid of ouse Finches. Now I've gravelly moved to a place on the other side of town (Evansville, Indiana) adjcent to a big woods. In short chickadees & formerly tufted Titmouses (titmice?) are plentiful. I never seen so many but they're are no House Finches. Has anybody else in this area noticed the same thing?
re:Where are the Finches? - 2006/11/21 05:04House Finch Conjunctivitis has grewatlly reduced the nubmer of House Finches in the area. A couple or more still show up here, but not like the numbers of a few years ago.
