Quail now regulars - 2006/12/13 17:44It appears quail are now regular visitors to our feeder.
How far away do they usually live from their food sources? I think they may live near by.... :? ---------

Distance - 2006/12/14 23:11Thanks. That's what I thought. We have tall grassy fields and an Aroyo (partially dry stream) about a block away. My suspicion is they are from there. I saw one fly off last night in that direction. 8) ---------

Good idea. - 2006/12/21 10:06That I should do. Where I think they are living is fenced off. But we do have other areas to investigate. This can become habit forming..... 8) ---------
