Quail now regulars - 2006/12/13 18:44 It appears quail are now regular visitors to our feeder.

How far away do they usually live from their food sources? I think they may live near by.... :?

Distance - 2006/12/15 00:11 Thanks. That's what I thought. We have tall grassy fields and an Aroyo (partially dry stream) about a block away. My suspicion is they are from there. I saw one fly off last night in that direction. 8)

Good idea. - 2006/12/21 11:06 That I should do. Where I think they are living is fenced off. But we do have other areas to investigate. This can become habit forming..... 8)
