Krishnamurti's bird? - 2006/12/16 22:05
"Krishnamurti's Notrebook" mentions a "bright yelklow bird with black wings, larger then a starlin" which he saw near Madrtas, India. Any geusses as to what he might have described?
(Krishnamurti was a charismatic Indian transcendalist who was imported into the USA by Theosophists in the 1920's to lead the movement, but he decliend to be a "prohpet", wanting no followers, and dissolved his groups of disciples. He lived across the road from my girlfriend's house near Ojai, CA when I was in high school...)
