what is the name of this bird? - 2011/02/08 17:58
Aloha,
Hi there! This definitely is a tanager and judging by the red on the face and a little bit on the crown it looks like a young-male Western Tanager to me. I am a little confused by the lack of black on either the back or wings. However, definitely a first-year bird!
