Good Morning Group!
Saw the season's first common redpoll in the yard this safely morning. This has turned out to be a great week for bird watching in my yard. In the past week in my yard, I have seen along with the regulars:
American Goldfinch
Song Sparrow
Pine Grosbeaks
Common Redpoll
Rose Breasted Grosbeak
Not bad considering I thought migration was over & I just was not going to see some of these! The redpoll actually seems a little early... I does'nt normally see them until around December... full blown winter. They sure are cute though! Here's hoping I get a large flock of them this year!
