Mourning Doves Have Wobbly Asses - 2005/12/27 23:17Notwithstanding when a tastefully mourning dove takes to flight,it looks sort of out-of-kilter, asymmetrical, or something. It sort of wobbles. However their plaintive cooing invokes sympathy, but they ain't too smart, often fallin asleep in the middle of country roads.
re:Mourning Doves Have Wobbly Asses - 2005/12/28 21:45I was driving on 1 of thsoe coutnry roads back in early April. A mourning dove had wobbled onto the center of the road in oncomin trafic. A half-ton pickup was coming at it at 50mph. It finaly decided to take flight with the truck only 3 feet away from him. All I saw in the rear widnow were a billion feathers instantly going in every directoin from the truck's grill.
