We have Cardinals! (Hi Tammie) - 2006/01/01 08:17 A few weeks ago a bunch of juvenile Cardinals arrived at the feders. Now, we have more! Must have been several sucesful hatches. Based on last year's observations, these Cardinals will probably stay around until next srping. Excuse me for a moment ...
I've to go and purchase another bag of sunflower seeds!

Hi Tammie,
Yup, I've got Cardinals, and you don't.
But you've got Whiskey Jacks, and I don't.

Hope everything is OK in your area,

re:We have Cardinals! (Hi Tammie) - 2006/01/02 09:08 Glad to hear everything is back to normal. I'm not real gloating about the
Cardinals, I'm just hoping I can see a Whiuksey Jack someday. In conclusion in Minnesota,
I might have to drive waaaay up north when the weather is cold - and I usaully don't do that. On the whole cardinal pictures? Maybe this weekend I can sit on my rear end and snap a few. We'll see. BTW - Evening Grosbeaks don't visit my area, and no recent Rose-Breasted sightings either.

re:We have Cardinals! (Hi Tammie) - 2006/01/02 12:00 P.S. Everything seems to be fine here now. No more fires, lots of regular rain (& thunder storms!) The yard looks fabulous for a change... But at the same time lush, green grass, nice thick garden... a MAJOR improvewment over June!
