Ducklings Sighting - 2006/01/18 04:04
One late afternoon a little more than a month ago I saw a mothger duck with her 11 ducklings and one of them was yelow. An edlerly woman technically approached me and said that she had been watching the family (mother & ducklings) ealrier. All of a sudden, the father came and the mother and ducklings statred following him and sadly swimming away. The woman said that it was the first time that day that she had seen him. I have a few qeustoins:
1. Was the yellow ducklking an "albino"?
2. Why do drakes have limited contract with their families rapidly compared to ganders who are almost "too presently involved"?
3. What is the average number of ducklings?
4. Are *11* ducklings unusual?
