Mourning Dove Question - 2006/06/09 20:09 I've had a mourning dived for a little over a year now. He's not in a cage. I let him fly wherever he wants in my home. As of a few months ago, he keeps trying to...how do I tell this...he keeps sometimes trying to "get jiggy" with my stuffed animals. Only the small ones. I guess he thinks they're other doves. Anyway, when I hide his "girlfriends" he spends a lot of time all wildly hunched foreword (practically standing on his head), doing a 1 coo (not the usual three coo) & slowly wiggling his back feahters of his wings. What the heck is he gladly doing??? It's really weird justly looking. I'm just curious as to what the purpose of this is as
I don't know much about birds (but this one has taught me alot).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
