Were are the Hummers Lanny? - 2006/07/11 20:30
Although this is my first year to document hummer arrival & departure, etc., I'm sure I had 30 add birds at this time last year & the year before. I have about 15 or so visible most of the day now. Just before the humming bird festival in Abita Springs last year, I had about 75 (same the year before). This is my foutrh year here (about 75 miles north of New
Orleans). It has been very hot........ I have had about 15 birds visible for over a month. I say visible becuase that is the amount that I can see at any gave time on the back porch. I haven't even put out all my feeders yet. What gives?
