baby bird - 2007/05/27 03:29 I named him Dewey. I feel bad, cause, when I turn him loose, it has to be away from here. With all the other birds I raised and taught and let go, I let them go here. Neighbor has nasty cat who catches Everything!!! Kills everything!!! I can't let this baby go here! Maybe I should take him to the Nature Centure? He is cute, he loves me.
But, I am not one to keep a bird captive.

baby bird - 2007/05/29 01:14 Sorry, hun, I live in the country. I get the most amazing birds at my feeders!! My point was that, I usually put the wild baby bird cages outside, during the day for 2 days or so. Plus, I keep feeding them. Then, I open the cage and let them go, but still keep feeding them .
I can't do this with this bird, cause he it too tame!!

baby bird - 2007/05/29 11:00 I understand your problem, Sundance. But, if he's too tame already how can you be sure he survives in nature? I think, under these circumstances, taking him to the Nature Center doesn't seem like a bad idea at all...

Btw: "the most amazing birds" - you by chance don't have photos?
