Art show - 2007/07/22 21:15 For those of you living in for visiting Vancouver I will be doing an art show at a cafe downtown, Java Express, 1090 Howe Street, (corner of Helmcken) featuring recent works, both tropical birds and landscapes. The show opens Monday July 23 and continues through September. See you there.

Art show - 2007/07/27 04:15 No. I met Moshe here in Vancouver last year when he was on sabbatical, just before his retirement. We got to be friends and we keep in touch. I gave him one of my small landscapes as a gift before he returned home.
Speaking of israel, one of my bird paintings is of a bee-eater that is native to your country. It is called the little green bee-eater, and the title of the painting is "Little Green Bee-eaters." so please feel free to look it up on my website. Right now I'm doing a painting of four sunbirds on a long narrow (12"x36") canvas. I find these birds so elegant. They take my breath away.

Art show - 2007/07/27 07:38 Way too far for me ( I live in London), otherwise i would definately love to see.

Sunbirds are striking - I have a wallpaper on my desktop of a sunbird but i don't know much at all about them.

Sunbirds are great-looking indeed. There also are so many species among them I just saw on google. The long narrow canvas sounds intriguing....
