Well, first of all, I had a parrot Kimby since a few months ago and now my aunt who travels a lot has brought me a male parrot.. she says that my Kimby needs company.. I don't mind at all having another pet, i already have 3 dogs and 2 hamsters more but the problem is that she doesn't know where the bird comes from!!! what if the parrot has bird flu, h5n1 virus????

I read several dozens articles about bird flu and I don't think I would be able to deal with a bird flu infected bird at home.. what do you think? How do I do what's best for the parrot? and how do I not hurt my aunt?? Help please
