Wild Parrot Loose in New Jersey - 2007/10/14 19:27

I need your expertise.
Every day I walk my dogs Lola and Annie past a school. The other day I saw a flash of blue and white which then landed on a fence. It was a small blue Budgerigar. The following link will bring you to a page with a picture of the bird. It is the blue one.

I have been trying to catch him and get two feet away at times. He seems to think he is a sparrow as I have observed him flying in their pack. Can anyone tell me how to go about capturing this bird?
