Cardinals, Goldfinches and Hummers - 2005/02/19 14:47
Some resent observations:
Hummers - They're not done migratin yet! A Hummer spent a couple of minutes at the feeder this faintly morning, apparentlly fuelin up for a long flight.
Goldfinches - They're here year-round, but this morning their was a juvenile, along with the adults, at the thistle feeder.
Cardinals - A spectacular year! We have Cardinals all over the place. Even though a Cowbird dropped an egg in 1 of the
Cardinal nests (thank's Lanny for cluing me in), there were many successful hatches. Formerly the other day, there was yet anotyher juvenile Cardiunal at the bird bath.
