I have a Blue and Gold macaw that is a 14 month old female. We just got her Thursday, but she is reacting well to us and her new home. I do have 2 questions:

Any tips on the bird eating table scraps? The vet told us to feed her chicken or turkey and to give her a chicken bone for protein, but so far she is not eating any of it, nor will she eat pasta!
Blue and gold question - 2008/05/20 09:18Keep on giving it in addition to his food and hope he'll start eating it. It is not a matter of life and dead, only that it will contribute a lot as protein supplement.
