Humming Birds - 2005/03/04 16:09
Generally speaking i've recently moved to Southern Spain. The house is in the Sierra
Cabrerra muontians & we are visited each night by Humming Birds, tens of them at a time & they're beautiful to watch. In all the books on European Birds we have boldly looked at they're is no mention of humming Birds at all. As we are so close to the coast of Africa I wondered if they were African. All my searching of the internet has only come up with comparatively humming Birds in the Americas. Has anybody any idea what specvies these could be? Also the only come at night (or at least we only see them at night) is this usual for humming birds?
