Short days - 2008/12/07 19:35 Well, it must be great living in a region like Alaska if one doesn't suffer from shortage of light... I remember those t.v. series "Northern Exposure" and loved it. Still... could never live there.

Our winters are 'mild'. And -every year we are in great expectation for the rains. We NEED rain. But most years there just doesn't fall a sufficient amount of it

Today was around 27 degr. C.... and sunny.

Same here. We normally get 13.49 inches per year. The last 2 we've gotten just around 6.
