House finch help!!! - 2009/04/20 23:47A pair of house finch just built a nest and there are three eggs now. My problem is I haven't seen the mother since the eggs were laid. Why would she abandon them? Any ideas? Will she come back?
House finch help!!! - 2009/04/22 11:40How long ago is that you saw the mother last? No I don't think she will come back if she stays away for more than a few days in a row. Perhaps she didn't abandon them but something happened to her? Or.... the eggs have something wrong with them so nature makes her to not sit on them and hatch...
