It was 27 degrees this morning, making for a great slushie for these two Annas. They're quite territorial. Maybe they were too cold to care..... ---------

but the female is brown. i had them visiting the bush underneath my balconey and their backs are blue and shining in the sunshine. but the female is brown. so that many people can mistake them for hummingbirds because they 'fly' in the same manner around a flower or tree.
