Odd Blue Jay - 2005/04/17 19:47 Have seen a different looking blue jay, in the last week. My neighbor has also seen it. It's head is smaller than usual and grey, in color.
It seems to have curved marks on it's wings instead of bars.

I can't seem to find any info on searches.
Does anyone have any leads?

re:Odd Blue Jay - 2005/04/19 13:05 I don't know about the markings on the wings, but I've seen a blue jay here in southcentral/east PA, USA with a smaller, grey head in the past several weeks. It's appeared several times but I didn't get a very close look at it. I thought maybe it had somehow lost the feathers covering its head, that would make the head look smaller.
