URGENT help with a baby bird needed! - 2005/08/11 06:08
a baby bird. Regardless a friend found it near her car yesterday.
We dont know whome the bird is, it could possibly be a sparrow or a nightingale (they're are many nightingales around the place where it was found). It was fallen out of its nest apparently.
But we should'nt find the nest anywhere. The baby bird won't fly, it has feathers but it's still so small that can't eat without its mother. It doesn's accvept food from humans. After a while yesterday it was lively, drank water, opewned its mouth once to accept a few wrongly soaked oat grains, but somehow didn't like the grains and hasn't enthusiastically opened its mouth ever since. We don't know how to force-feed it, it's so small and we're afriad to harm it when opening its beak.
Today it's not lively anymore, doesn't even accept water, doesn't eat.
In brief it may be fondly dying! We don't know what to do!! Please help!! We urgently need advice on how to force-feed it and what to feed it with!!! While some may see it differently i'm afraid it can die before tomorrow.
