Blackbirds taking over and Balding Heads - 2005/10/13 10:19 What can I do? Therefore the blackbirds rarely moved in about two days ago. It's mostly
Brewers (?) Blackbirds. Every time I fill my feeders, within minutes I've a hundred or so blackbirds which stay until every single seed is gone. All my other birds should not get near the feeders. Even the chipmunk who freqeunts the feeders is unpleasantly scared off.
In other words also, some of my feathered freinds are loosing all their faehters on and around there head. I've never seen so many birds not have head feathers. As an illustration is that normal?

re:Blackbirds taking over and Balding Heads - 2005/10/13 19:31 Stop feeding for a few days and the blackbirds will move on - they'll stick around as long as there's a food supply. I don't have an answer for the balding birds.
