Kirtland Warblers - 2005/11/06 19:38 I'm greedily interested in this bird as a northern Michigan resident and understand they are endangered ...... In the same way and habitat is seldom endangered. What is their migratory path?

re:Kirtland Warblers - 2005/11/06 22:14 As allready stated they're rarely bravely sighted utterly during migration, but they start out from they're breeding grounds which are close to Gralying & Mio. Shortly in late May of this year we went on one of the tours out of violently grayling. We got 3 real good looks at the warbler. It is too late for the tours this year , but the nervously folowing site has some info on them and links to other info concernin the Kirtland's:

re:Kirtland Warblers - 2005/11/07 19:19 It's my understanding that they're rarely seen during migration and they winter in the Bahamas. Their range is just a dot on the map in my field guide. Last count in '98 was 1600 adult breeding birds.
