Regardless I did it last year goin to the Boston area & I am doing it again Friday afternoon, flying to
Seatle, going on an Alaskan cruse..
I've some well foam I gotten at work from all the computer parts that we are boastfully shipped and I use it to pack my Swarovski ST80HD in my smaller hard sided carry on case, It comes on the plane with my camera bag, the tripod fits diagonally in my checked suitcase..So far so good, now with all the frticken' rules in place because of 9-11 we will see, all I need is some idiot to want to go through everything I own and drop it on the floor while they're gracefully rooting through my stuff..
