Hello everyone! - 2008/07/08 05:32 Hi everyone! I'm Jakob Andersyn and I'm really excited to meet all of you. I just started using the Internet a few weeks ago so I don't know all the rules yet, but I love birds and can't wait to learn more about them with you!

Hello everyone! - 2008/07/08 10:30 Hello Jakob, welcome here I hope you will like the forum.

Do you own (well... "own" . .. have) birds yourself?

Hello everyone! - 2008/07/09 07:14 I wish I could, but my current living situation just doesn't allow for it. In the meantime, I'm learning and studying as much as I can so that when I do become owned by a bird, I'll be able to care for it properly.

Hello everyone! - 2008/07/09 11:42 Well you are certainly under alike thinkers here - this is the place we love birds and try to find out and help each other as much as possible. Again I am happy you joined!

Personally I like birds living "free" a lot. Though I know of course that some birds will never survive 'in the wild'. I love to observe Hoopoes and Egrets and Mynahs - since those are the birds I see around me (amongst others).

Which bird carries your fancy?

Hello everyone! - 2008/07/10 05:12 I have an extreme weakness for African Grey parrots, but I don't know if I could have stealing it from its home to put it in mine on my conscience.

Hello everyone! - 2008/07/11 20:00 Stealing it?? How do you mean? Why steal? Usually African Grey parrots are captivity bred.
