Update on my breeding success: Bred this year 2008: JAVA SPARROWS: 28 chicks ZEBRA FINCHES: 60 chicks CANARIES: 12 chicks DIAMOND DOVES: 12 chicks. CHINESE PAINTED QuAILS: 3 chicks. Still got loads of birds sitting on eggs? my season is far from over! This year I am hoping to enter my birds in Shows? Must exciting happenings this year is that I have KAKARIKI'S sitting on four eggs. I would love them all to hatch and rear/ fingers cross.
My season update - so far! - 2008/08/16 00:02New update! Checked my Kakariki's this morning and I have twio lovely chicks!!!!!!!!!! and still two eggs in box. I won't be looking in again because the Hen got very upset? I hope they reach the perch, fingers crossed? they are truely lovely...

Re:My season update - so far! - 2008/08/21 23:54Since my last post a week ago I have more chicks, Diamond Doves, Java Sparrows and Zebra Finches. Also now have five Kakariki chicks in the nest. I am very pleased with them.

Hopefully i wont be selling on any kakariki's, I will look to exchange them for a breeding programme?

I hope you will find a way that will meet your satisfaction (because the birds' health is also a factor in that, right!) - and can't wait to hear what you decided in the end In the meanwhile: enjoy those little creatures as much as you can
