While out birding at the lake today I saw and photographed a beautiful White Morph Juvenile Snow Goose. The Snows winter over in my area. They stay till mid March then head back home to the artic.

Fly Like An Eagle And Carry A Big Stick

While Eagle watching today I saw and photographed a beautiful mature Blad Eagle as it flew over carrying a big stick in it's talons. The Eagle carried the stick back to it's nest.

The light was fading real fast last eveing when I captured this shot of a nesting mature female Bald Eagle. Most people have never seen an Eagle nesting in the wild.

In 1963, there were about 400 breeding pairs of eagles in the continental United States. Today, there are more than 7,500 pairs. the loss of Hasbitat is the number one threat to Bald Eagles today.
